Of Devils and Angels

"If our eyes were open to see the spirit world around us, . . . we would not be so unguarded and careless and so indifferent whether we had the spirit and power of God with us or not but we would be continually watchful and prayerful to our Heavenly Father for His Holy Spirit and His holy angels to be around about us to strengthen us to overcome every evil influence." - George Q. I did energy work for someone I  am close to and know to be a  great person. After I had cast out many devils and demons and a few dissembled spirits this person said... "Thanks for the energy work but I dont think I am as bad as you think I am. "  I tried to explain that the amount of devils does not equate to how good or bad you are. But they are a part of this existence and plague us all. We can choose to  let them stay near and afflict us or we can choose to send them away.

"Every person who desires and strives to be a Saint is closely watched by fallen spirits that came here when Lucifer fell, and by the spirits of wicked persons who have been here in tabernacles and departed from them. . . . Those spirits are never idle, they are watching every person who wishes to do right and are continually prompting them to do wrong." - Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses 7:239)

Bruce R. McConkie of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, 1958: “Through supernatural means, by the power of the Holy Ghost, devout persons are permitted to have visions and to see within the veil. They are enabled to see spiritual personages and to view scenes hidden from ordinary sight. These visions are gifts of the Spirit. (Seventh Article of Faith.) They come by faith and vanish away when faith dies out. (1 Sam. 3:1; Isa. 29:9-14.) Thus they stand as an evidence of the divinity of the Lord’s work in any age. If the Lord is giving visions and revelation to a people, such group constitutes the people of God. If visions and revelations are not being received by any church or people, then that group is not the Lord’s people. By this test the identity of the true Church is known. (Moro. 7:30-38.) … Visions serve the Lord’s purposes in preparing men for salvation. By them knowledge is revealed (2 Ne. 4:23), conversions are made (Alma 19: 16), the gospel message is spread abroad, the church organization is perfected (D. & C. 107:93), and righteousness is increased in the hearts of men. And visions are to increase and abound in the last days, for the Lord has promised to pour out his ‘spirit upon all flesh,’ so that ‘old men shall dream dreams,’ and ‘young men shall see visions.’ (Joel 2:28-32.)” (Mormon Doctrine [Salt Lake City, Utah: Bookcraft, Inc., 1958], pp. 745, 747.)

Once you start a daily meditation practice and do kundalini yoga you will see that your senses are open to more.  It is not  uncommon to see spirits both good and bad around you and others.  Just as Satan had no power over Moses  and he sent him a way by commanding him in the name of of the Savior to leave, we also have power to call upon our savior and deliverer and command them to leave.

If you find that you feel like its  an exceptionally hard day and you are tempted on every hand. Or if you find yourself  thinking degrading thoughts or thoughts that are not your own, chances are you are

being influenced by these  evil beings.  They are around us and it is their job and pleasure to create pain and to make temptation harder to resist. No one is immune. Some times members get confused by thinking that since they are repentant or have just been to the temple, or they are a good person  that  these "bad guys" will not be  with them.  Unless you have sent them away they are there to cause as much damage as they can. You are not immune because  you are a good person- a child- a priesthood  holder- a yogi - or energy worker.  They are here and they are real.

Here is a side point that I feel is worth addressing...
The Lord said,“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”(Matthew 5:16) President Davis O. McKay talks about radiating this light. There is another responsibility correlated and even co-existent with … agency, which is too infrequently emphasized, and that is the effect not only of a person’s actions, but also of his thoughts. Man radiates what he is, and that radiation affects to a greater or lesser degree every person who comes within that radiation” (“Free Agency … the Gift Divine,” Improvement Era, February 1962, 87). 

So IF we are close to the spirit and living as God would want us to we shine with a bright white aura. We radiate to others through our aura and even if they cant see it they can sense that a person is good. Satan can not know our thoughts. So how does he and his  followers know if they are being successful in tempting us to think bad things or not if they cant hear our thoughts?  Easy, they can see our aura. As soon as we start  giving into temptation our auras dim and diminish. The more we listen the more we make choices that remove us from "the light" the more dark we become.   Now back to the  meat of it.

  God has not left us powerless against them. We  have prayer and scripture study and other things that raise our vibration making it difficult to be tempted by their influence. These things bring a heightened awareness to the environment around us and we can if we chose to send them  away by calling on the name of Christ and  commanding them to depart.   We can also call on others from the normally unseen world to help.  We are  not only surrounded by devils but  also  angles. They are members  from our heavenly and earthly family who  are there to help us and  aid us. They are eager to help us and  bless us.

"President George Q. Cannon said this about how God has prepared you and me and our children for the tests we will face: “There is not one of us but what God’s love has been expended upon. There is not one of us that He has not cared for and caressed. There is not one of us that He has not desired to save, and that He has not devised means to save. There is not one of us that He has not given His angels charge concerning. We may be insignificant and contemptible in our own eyes, and in the eyes of others, but the truth remains that we are the children of God, and that He has actually given His angels—invisible beings of power and might—charge concerning us, and they watch over us and have us in their keeping.” What President Cannon taught is true. You will need that assurance, as I have needed it and depended on it."-  Henery B Eyring  (To My Grandchildren, general conference  Oct 2013)

So in short. Its a war- you are the prize - you have those fighting constantly for you and against you.  Pray for those  who  fight with you and for you and  Cast away those who would influence you to do evil, for they are subject to you.  Surround yourself with  all that is good. One can not expect evil to stay away if one lets it in  though music, media, filthily and offensive words, and hot tempers. 
Be clean in  all that you are and do, and send evil on its way.

Energetic Immunization

Ok So  I was SICK very sick. For weeks and weeks and pregnant at the same time and just could not kick feeling sick no mater what I tried.  I took meds, herbal tea, slept ALL the time,  I had  energy work done that would make me feel better for a few hrs at a time, I had several priesthood blessings  that all said you can make it through this but Im not going to take it away. 
After prayer I learned that I was being Inoculated for future diseases.  This was just the symptoms of the "energetic immunization" that I was feeling and that is why God was not taking the symptoms away. I was experiencing this now so that I would be ready for the future.  As others experienced the "shot" symptoms or even later as  many will suffer from the disease I will be ready to help.  It was much  easier to look at the sickness I was undergoing with  more gratitude.  It also lead me to this  Quote from Robert D Hales 
I testify that whatever challenges or hardships we have, they are provided for a reason—so that we can become and accomplish what we were sent to the earth to be and to do.
This truth is taught in the scriptures: that we receive no witness until after the trial of our faith. Sometimes that trial consists of seeking understanding or waiting for an answer from the Lord.

I'm at he first half of Alma 24  And it is very  up lifting and  helps us remember  the gifts of God and how much he loves us. For instance verse 14: And the great God has had mercy on us, and made these things known unto us that we might not perish; yea, and he has made these things known unto us beforehand, because he loveth our souls as well as he loveth our children; therefore, in his mercy he doth visit us by his angels, that the plan of salvation might be made known unto us as well as unto future generations.

The idea of “Chakras”, came from the traditions of yoga. Ancient-Eastern “seers” in the Indus Valley (present-day Pakistan) perceived this philosophy in meditations about living so you can become immortal. They saw seven lotus flowers and other metaphor-archetypal-physiological wisdom. As that is the basis of both energy-healing and LDS observance, I have a deep love for the Chakras and how much they can help me on that path.

In 2001 when my yoga students wanted to learn more about chakras, I was nervous about messing with anyone’s “mojo” in my stewardship as teacher within an LDS culture, so I went to the American Fork Temple to ask the Lord, if I had permission to teach about them. Anytime I attend the Temple, I always seem to get my answers in the dressing-room or chapel, before I even start my session, initiatory or sealings; go figure, but there you have it.

So, as I was sitting in the temple chapel, I opened the bible to a random page, just to see what the Lord would like me to know, as I began my session. The page was Revelation 1: 10-12, which said something to the effect of: I heard a sound as a trumpet and turned to see the voice who spoke and saw seven golden candlesticks. From the center “candlestick” (which cross-references to a scripture describing a “flower” or blossom to hold light) Christ stepped forward and said: “I am Alpha and Omega…Take what thou seest and teach it to the seven churches which are in Asia”. I figured that was a pretty good answer, so here we go:

The Chakras are both real and metaphor, both physical and spiritual. Chakras are also energy centers in your body, that for the most part, have been taught as seven separate compartments, which they are not. Your chakras are all interconnected. Chakras all work within, without, on behalf of, or against each other (depending on your level of awakening and how you are using the gifts of your agency, which varies from person to person at any given moment).

In the chakra matrix, there is a current called “Liberating” that moves energy up, clears blocks-limitations; this is the “works” part of life, where we have to show up; coming upward through your inner-light. There is also a downward-current called “Manifesting”; this is the Grace current (coming in through your outer-light-countenance-aura), where blessings flow Divinely down through you. The chakra story is about how we learn to work and allow these two currents to flow simultaneously. The better we get at this, the more holographic our life becomes. I use the word “holographic”, in relation to “Atonement”, meaning everything we heal or align is affected by everything else; ideally through the Atoning sacrifice of the Savior.

When BOTH currents can flow simultaneously, your chakras become one stream, activating something called our “Light-body” (one word). When the Light-body is activated, we are experiencing Eternal Progression for ourselves (along with an uplifting effect on those around us). In the chakra story, Eternal Progression doesn’t happen once you pass the test of this life, this life is a huge opportunity to increase your tolerance for Light. The ability to withstand more and more light and the importance of learning to do so can be found in D&C 88. The greater your light, the closer to God-Eternal-Source Presence you will naturally be by the time you are complete in your life here and move “on”. When folks talk about “shuffling off this mortal coil”, the “coil” they refer to is…wait for it…Your Chakras!

D&C 88:67 says: “And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things”.

So with that intro, here’s the base, beginning chakra: Root Chakra 1 located at the base of your spine, down through your legs and feet

On the first day of Creation, Heavenly Father (along with Christ and Archangel Michael) “Organized Matter”. The first Chakra is about just that. How well do you organize what matters most to you everyday in your physical world? Root chakra work is grounded in all things new-birth, dog-poop, diapers, diet, finances (money is just a current by the way, that’s why they call it “currency”), physical health, alone time, beginner’s mind, elementary work-labor, setting good boundaries that give you “rooted-support” (the meaning of the original name of the Root Chakra 1).

When you have a healthy “Root Chakra”, you are grounded in all the goodness of mortality an able to feel physically connected to principles of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. This earth element chakra, is the root or foundation of the all the other chakras, and physically situated at the base of your spine, legs and feet. It is considered the “sleeping place” of an awakening manifestation, we call “Mother Nature”. Your Root holds all your potential in the raw. The vibrational range of the red color spectrum, things move pretty slow at the Root. Issues that arise from your Root Chakra usually come-up for you to learn let go of your fears and embrace greater patience in the foundational circumstances of your life.

How is your Root Chakra 1: How often are you afraid of life’s risks, over-committed, physically tired, in financial lack or physical disarray-distruption, or manifesting the life you choose or are just perpetually dreaming of?

These are all indications that your Root Chakra 1 needs you to get back to basics. Taking some time to work with red, protein foods, diet-routine, household-budget and organizing the physical matters of your life all benefits this energy and how it manifests throughout all the areas of your physical life. See what it stirs up. How hard is it?

The physical manifestation in our lives is the result of either the work we are doing to Liberate ourselves, to “prove” worthy, as we work up the chakras or it is the FULL manifestation of our ability to feel that worth and allow the Grace of Christ’s Atoning Sacrifice to move down through us. The more authentic-honest we can be with what’s going on with our Root Chakra 1, the more capable we become to both move up though our Sacral Charka 2 undistorted and allow physical motivations, circumstances and blessing within the hologram of all chakras, to move down through it.

Keep in mind that we all (c-sections notwithstanding), are Divinely designed to Crown through our Mother’s Root chakra to begin this experience.

My motivation for posting is as follows: I am not asking you to enroll in any of the programs I offer. I am sharing these posts because I feel impressed to support both the testimony that Christ is at the center of not only the Chakras but of all healing and that He is the source for any information that I have compiled, which I am apparently supposed to teach. You can take it or not, but if you do, I would suggest you carefully pray about how it relates to you personally and get your own answers related to this topic. I’m sharing my posts out of love:

In 2011, I was diagnosed with stage 3 “invasive” breast cancer (which Heavenly Father and I, with much prayer from friends and family have cleared). The “Invasive” part of that diagnosis was from this charka work, that had been plagiarized, due to multiple copyright infringements, by a woman I was affiliated with at the time. Fight for positive Sexuality

We hear a lot now days about the fight against pornography.  I do admit that pornography is a BIG problem even among the Saints.  But I have also learned that it is much better to fight bad things by filling your life with good. Joseph B. Wirthlin in his talk Seeking the Good says "We can fill our lives with good, leaving no room for anything else. We have so much good from which to choose that we need never partake of evil." The mantra -fighting the fight against pornography- isn't nearly as powerful to me as -Fighting for  Positive Sexuality. To me this includes so much more than DON'T DO THAT! I want to be in a place where I can teach all those around me that Sexual Energy is a gift from God that can be harness, controlled, shared, and a powerful blessing even to those who are not sexually active.
So how do we harness and control and share our powerful sexual energy if we are celibate or not sexually active right now?   Its easy we train our minds and body to live in a higher state. As we make good choices we feel a CHANGE in our hearts. As the sexual energy rises it goes up the cerebral spinal chakras  and we feel that energy lift us higher.  So we spend our day doing things that lift the body, and the mind, and the spirit.  Good things raise our vibration of our bodies, sin and negative things lower our vibration.  If you have done enough bad things you  put off that "bad vibe" that others pick up on and if they are spiritually minded they really don't even like being around people who have that "bad vibe". Good people also put off a strong

vibration. If you are spiritually minded you will pick up on it. The prophet's vibration is so strong and large it fills the whole conference center. If you have ever been to conference You KNOW the moment he comes into the room. No announcements are made like "all rise here comes the prophet!!!", you don't even have to be watching for him to come in, but as soon as he  comes in that great big room you FEEL him, and you stand.
 When we are balanced and filled with light we, like the people of King Benjamin, will have "No more disposition to do evil. " (Mosiah 5:2)  Part of being balanced is filling our life with the good things of God. Let me list a few things that raise a persons vibration. Healthy eating, scripture study, service, smiling, temple work, PRAYER, exercise, playing with children, connecting with a new born baby, taking the sacrament and repenting, meditating, connecting with nature, being grateful.... There are so so many. But the ones that have the most lasting effects and that raise the vibration quickly and safely are Prayer- deep meditative conversation with the Father.  Applying the atonement through repentance and taking the sacrament.  Reading your scriptures in a way that you are learning and feeling the spirit.  Going to the temple. All these are things we do with our minds and for our spirits, they  raise the vibration far but to reach even farther in spiritual areas we need to master our bodies and quiet our minds. The fastest way to do this is by doing Kundalini Yoga and meditation in addition to those things listed above.
 I am going to assume that you know all about how wonderful meaningful prayer, scripture study, keeping the Sabbath day holy and attending meetings, and temple work bring to your life, so I wont go deep there, but I want to talk about  what  Kundalini Yoga and meditation will do for you.
Kundalini Yoga (YK) strengthens the nervous system, and quiets the mind. It also balances the bodies energies. A kundalini rising is where the energy that is located at the base of the spine moves up the spine to the top of the crown.  It is a way of coming unto Christ. We are moving our energies and our divine potential out of the base "natural man" energy of the 3 lower earthly chakras up to the  upper triangle or what is also known as the spiritual chakras.  This movement of energy helps us connect with God, Christ, and our divine purpose on this earth.  We move  from a fallen state of energy- or lower vibration to a higher state of energy- or a higher vibration.  This is described as pure bliss.  You really have no more disposition to do evil when you are in this state- its heavenly.
The body is the vehicle of the soul. We can do so much spiritual work but the body is an eternal blessing. If we do not treat it as such we will miss much of the purpose of this earth life.  KY helps us train the body to put off the natural man and move  forward and upward. KY also helps us  quiet our minds so we can feel, and hear, and see the things of God. - So what does all this have to do with positive sexuality?
 When our bodies are balanced, and our energy is flowing the way God wants it to, our desires change.  Instead of seeing our bodies through  Satan's lenses we begin to see them as the powerful beautiful creations and eternal blessings from God.  Satan tells us we are ugly, fat, unattractive , that body parts

are dirty or nasty. He helps us hate our own eternal blessing of a body- and the bodies or body parts of our spouses.) This does not help healthy sexuality.  If our sexual energies are too low (or our first and second chakras are not as big as they should be or spinning as they should) we have a low sex drive. We don't feel that God given need or desire to be intimate with our spouse. If our first and second chakras are too big and there is too much energy in them we can have an over active sex drive. This can be unhealthy and can lead to feelings of a need to release this extra energy. Many people turn to sex and feel there is still energy left to burn. Satan entices them to look at porn or engage in other unhealthy sexual activities to  try and "balance" this extra energy and meet the extra need and pressure this energy puts on their system.   This is not healthy and like all the temptations of the Deceiver it is a trap, leads to addictions, and a larger amount of energy that is not being spent doing  what God would have us do.
Kundalini Yoga and meditation balance that energy. It sends energy where it needs to go and converts extra sexual energy into creative energy.  It brings a low desire in to a normal range and high desires  down to normal range. The system is balanced and a healthy sexual relationship can exist.  This works for people who are not sexually active as well. The body, mind, and the spirit know that sexual activity must wait until after marriage and  the energy will be sent up along the chakras for a balanced system.
Sat Kryia is the go to  yoga kryia for balancing the lower triangle ( the first three chakras located at the perineum, in the pelvis and in the solar plexus).  This moves the energies up and  helps the chakras to get the right amount of energy and sends any extra energy up.

So instead of telling our youth  they need Stop looking at porn or Don't look at porn  or Dont masturbate, or  whatever!... Lets give them tools- something TO DO when the  urge and temptation hit. Or give them tools to use daily to raise their vibration so there is no urge or temptation because they will  have NO disposition to do evil.

Time

Time is not the way we think it is. The seconds fly by and you cant get them back. There are days and years and even precious minuets in the future but  we cant access them until they are in the present.  That is the way we view time. But time is not as set or as linear as we would like to think. Sometimes God lets us step in to time and see it as he does. Always before His face is the time of man. He sees all the future, present, and past. God has promised us all that he has- this includes a eternal view of time.  Christ understood this concept as well as many of the prophets.  Lets  take a look at a few scriptures shall we?

John 16 :33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Notice that this is when Jesus is talking to his disciples in the upper room before the atonement.  The atonement has not happened yet but he speaks as though it has been done already.  Keep your eyes open there are several times when this is done in the scriptures.  We find this kind of  futuristic talk in the Book of Mormon as well.
2 Nephi 1: 5 But, said he, notwithstanding our afflictions, we have obtained a land of promise, a land which is choice above all other lands; a land which the Lord God hath covenanted with me should be a land for the inheritance of my seed.

 Remember that at this point Lehi is still in the desert outside of Jerusalem.  He is speaking as though he was already there. He recognizes that  these blessings  will/ have come to pass.
The Nephites also  view Christs atonement in this manner. They look forward to it as if it had already happened.  There is much we can learn from this attitude.

When we do energy work (Energy Healing) God permits us to do wonderful things with time. We can go back and fix some things, we can  reach into the future for healing and understanding, we can pause the present situations and pray for more guidance before we continue.  Using these time manipulates has changed the way I pray.
Gratitude
Instead of only being grateful for things God has already blessed me with in my past I can thank him for blessings  that are coming for knowledge that is on its way, and like Lehi when I word it in the past tense is shows faith.  So I try to be thankful for the help that will come and speaking of it in the past tense. Since this isnt the way we usually do this lets have an example. We would normally say something like this.
Please Father in Heaven, Help me:
Find my keys
feel the spirit
feel better or get better soon

Lets apply the lesson from Lehi and  change our pleas to expressions of Gratitude  for blessings not yet realized in the present.
Thank you Father in Heaven For helping me find my keys in a timely manner and knowing where to look for them.
Great God of Heaven, Thank you! Thank you, for the measure of the spirit I feel and will continue to feel in my life. And for helping me to know the changes I have made and will make that help me feel the Holy Spirit strongly in my life.
Divine and Master Healer, Thank you for healing me and helping me to over come my sickness. Thank you Father for my wonderful body that is capable of healing, growing, and creating.

It is good to ask for the things we need and we are encouraged to do so. But I have also  felt power in thanking Heavenly Father for blessings that have not come to pass but talking about them as if they had.
Time is not linear anyway so in a way God already HAS blessed us with those blessings  and one can never say thank you too early.
