We are told we need to put our armor on EVERY DAY I find that when I do it this way I can feel it and I know where it is weak. It only takes a few min but it is so powerful.
Here is
how we do it at our house.
I talk this out for my kids. Now they have done it so much they can do it on their own.
Close your eyes and picture yourself in a white bright room. There is a table there with your armor on it.
It is complete and made just for you. At the end of the table you see a
woman. She is beautiful, and has a bright smile, love radiates from
her. THIS IS YOUR HEAVENLY MOTHER. And as all mothers she wants you to
be safe and protected and she is here to help you get dressed in your
armor.
You can take a moment to greet her and tell her you love her.
Look at the table. It is spread with your armor. Heavenly Mother will tell you were to stand. Then she will walk to the table to help you get your armor on.
First she takes your helmet. She places it on
your head, straps it under your chin, and lowers the visor so your face
is also protected.
Next she takes your breast and back
plate. You can hold the front as she puts on the back plate. It straps over
the top of each shoulder. You will then have to raise each arm so she
can make tight the straps on each side. First on your right side , and then on your left.
She goes to the
table and grabs a chainmail skirt. She wraps this around your waist
and it ties in the back she then tucks it up and under the breast and
back plate so there are no gaps.
Next come your leg grieves. She puts them in place and they strap at the upper thigh,
above the knee, below the knee, and above the ankle for both legs.
She
then goes to the table and gets your shoes. You can hold on to her as
you step into each shoe. Once you are in she bends down and synches
them for you and makes sure your ankles are covered.
Next
hold out your arms and Heavenly Mother will put on your arm grieves.
(Every ones armor is different and tailored to them. Your Arm grieves
might strap to you similar to your leg grieves or they might be like
great big gloves that go from your finger tip up to your shoulders.)
Feel the movement and comfort of your armor. Take time to twist and bend and feel safe and protected, flexible and strong.
Hold your arms out as Heavenly Mother brings you your sword and
shield. Pay attention to which hand she puts them in. If your shield
is in your dominate hand then today is going to be a day where you must
protect and shield yourself and others. If your sword is in your
strong hand then today is a day where you need to stand up for the
things that are right and fight for Christ and his Gospel.
See if Heavenly Mother has any thing else for you that day that might help you or protect you.
Once
you are all dressed give her a hug and tell her thank you. Tell her
you love her and that you will try hard to be the kind of person she
would want you to be. Listen to anything she has to say to you. And
open your eyes.
This process can take any where from 1 min to 10 if you have a deep conversation or ask questions about your armor.
You
can visualize this for anyone you are a steward over. Your armor is
weakened or comes off completely when you sin, loose your temper, or are
not true to the light you have. You can repent and ask God to re
install it for you.
You can also muscle test to see
if you are missing any pieces of your armor. Or to see if your sword
is out... its not a good idea to keep it in the sheath it doesnt do you
much good in there.
Everyone armor is different. Mine
changes from time to time... I have a Sunday set of Armor that I LOVE.
But it is only set out on the table on Sundays. On other people I have seen
roman armor, mid evil armor, ninja/oriental armor, and even one little
girl has armor that is pink and shinny with glitter all over it. It
fits her personality.
This is so important that EACH of
my kids have been told In their new years blessings for this year that
they need to get up and meditate with mom and put on their armor every
day.
Hope it helps.... ON a side note make sure that
conversations with Heavenly Mother stay conversations. If you have
anything that sound like a prayer make sure and
rout it through Heavenly Father. We pray only to Him... but that doesnt
mean we cant talk to our Heavenly Mother or have a relationship with her.

So Purkh
I'm at he first half of Alma 24 And it is very up lifting and helps us remember the gifts of God and how much he loves us. For instance verse 14: And the great
God has had mercy on us, and made these things known unto us that we
might not perish; yea, and he has made these things known unto us
beforehand, because he loveth our souls as well as he loveth our
children; therefore, in his mercy he doth visit us by his angels, that
the plan of salvation might be made known unto us as well as unto future
generations.
Im also listening to So Purkh. I just thought it was beautiful to be listening to something so similar to what I am reading

Be Still, and Know That I Am God
Here Elder Ballard talks about Being Still
Here are a few quotes that I thought applied here
As an Apostle, I now ask you a question: Do you have any personal quiet time?
I have wondered if those who lived in the past had more opportunity than we do now to see, feel, and experience the presence of the Spirit in their lives.
Seemingly, as our world gets brighter, louder, and busier, we have a greater challenge feeling the Spirit in our lives. If your life is void of quiet time, would you begin tonight to seek for some?
Everyone needs time to meditate and contemplate. Even the Savior of the world, during His mortal ministry, found time to do so: “And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.”2
We all need time to ask ourselves questions or to have a regular personal interview with ourselves. We are often so busy and the world is so loud that it is difficult to hear the heavenly words “be still, and know that I am God.”3
In addition to finding time to contemplate and meditate, we also need to find a place, as mentioned in the Doctrine and Covenants, that will be “a defense, and … a refuge from the storm.”6
We need a special place of refuge where we can wean ourselves from the distractions of our electronic devices by unplugging them so we can connect to the Spirit of God.
I know that my life has changed greatly by being still. I can hear the Holy Ghost because I am more in tune and quiet enough to listen to the small voice. My spirit comes to the surface and I view my world more through the eyes of my spirit and with an eternal lense. Even the most busy day feels calm and quiet because of setting my day up right by starting my day quiet with prayer, meditation, and scripture study. The being still and meditating has amplified my prayers and my scripture study it magnifies their power in my life. Now I never want to be with out it.

Cleaning Mind and Cleaning your Blood
D&C 88:73-75
73 Behold, I will hasten my work in its time.
74 And I give unto you, who are the first laborers in this last kingdom, a commandment that you assemble yourselves together, and organize yourselves, and prepare yourselves, and sanctify yourselves; yea, purify your hearts, and cleanse your hands and your feet before me, that I may make you clean;
75 That I may testify unto your Father, and your God, and my God, that you are clean from the blood of this wicked generation; that I may fulfil this promise, this great and last promise, which I have made unto you, when I will.
Lets read more about what the Guide to the Scriptures say about blood before we move on to new things shall we.
Meditation and Energy work my friends are the answer. If you haven't taken a min to watch this video about your blood then take a look and this will start to make more sense.

Lets read more about what the Guide to the Scriptures say about blood before we move on to new things shall we.
Blood-
Regarded by the ancient Israelites and many cultures today as the seat of life or vital energy of all flesh. The Guide to the ScripturesThere is that word again ENERGY. Keep it in mind as you keep reading. There is a Venezuelan Proverb that states: Blood is inherited and virtue is acquired. I think there is a lot of truth to that. Im not just talking about your DNA part of your blood but ALL things you have inherited from your ancestors so their ENERGY. Lets read Truman G. Madsen's talk on this.
"And, therefore, as you look back at your seventy or so forebears... you might recognize that you have inherited the blood of many generations. And blood may not be a correct word scientifically, but in the scriptures it stands for seed, which means heredity, the inheritance of tendencies, and all of us have them. You have the blood of this generation, from which we must become clean - 'clean from the blood of this generation' (D&C 88:85). If you do, you will be clean from the blood of every generation, because it is compounded and accumulated into now- and that includes the blood of some degeneration. So all that is so cool but what do we do about it HOW do we do the 'dirty work' and clean out our blood? So perhaps you do have problems that you can blame on your ancestors, and if you forgive that and choose to stand close to the Lord in the process of purifying your life, that will affect your whole family in both directions. You are not alone. There is no way you can gain solitary and neutral ground. You are in it - you are involved. And this, I believe, is one of the profound meanings of the tame and wild olive trees. If you take a wild branch and graft it in to a tame one, if the branch is strong enough it will eventually corrupt and spoil the tree all the way to the roots. But if you take a tame branch and graft it in to a wild tree, in due time, if that branch is strong enough, it will heal and regenerate to the very roots. You will have then been an instrument in the sanctification even of your forebears.
...To be that kind of branch and achieve that kind of transformation backward and forward is perhaps the greatest achievement of this world. But to do it one must be great, one must be linked, bound to the Lord Jesus Christ. One must be mighty. One must be something of a savior. And that is exactly what the Prophet Joseph Smith said we are: 'saviors on Mount Zion.' (Truman G. Madsen, "The Temple: Where Heaven Meets Earth," p 84)
Meditation and Energy work my friends are the answer. If you haven't taken a min to watch this video about your blood then take a look and this will start to make more sense.
So meditation cleans the mind from subconscious garbage. By so doing we are also cleaning our blood from negative energy and helps raise our vibration to be closer to God. Also remember every thing is Energy. That means our blood and the "Stuff" in it. We can also clear and clean our bodies from negative energy by using the Emotion Code and other techniques similar to it. This is done by connecting to God and asking him to help you find impurities or negative energy in your body. Once these trapped emotions/the negative Energy is located we can ask God to help us remove it. For more on that read Dr Nelsons book The Emotion Code. You can read it on line here. He specifically talks about many times we have inherited negative emotions from our ancestors. These negative emotions taint our blood and we are not clean. We can remove these negative energies only by and through the atonement. With out the atonement we could not be free.

The Meditation Minute
Meditation Minutes
Yogic science says that there are specific lengths of time needed for certain desired effects in meditation. Thus, meditations (and exercises in a kriya) are held for a specified period of time.
3 minutes: Affects circulation (blood) and electromagnetic field.
11 minutes: Changes glandular system and nerves.
22 minutes: Balances and coordinates the three minds.
31 minutes: Affects all the cells and rhythms of the body and all layers of the mind’s projection.
62 minutes: Changes the gray matter of the brain. Integrates the subconscious “shadow mind” and the outer projection.
2 ½ hours: Holds the new pattern in the subconscious mind by the surrounding universal mind.
Meditation Cycles of Transformation
Committing to a personal practice makes the meditation process of transformation and self-discovery your own. To master the effects of a meditation, practice it as a sadhana, as a daily discipline. This will develop a life-promoting habit. Habit controls us so much that it is said that we can actually change our destiny by changing our habits. We can use various cycles of the human mind to help replace unwanted patterns of behavior with new, more positive ones. Choose a meditation that suits your goals and/or inspires you, and commit to practicing it over 40, 90, 120, or 1,000 days.
40 days: Change a habit.
90 days: Confirm the habit.
120 days: You are the new habit.
1,000 days: Mastery of the new habit. The link for this info is HERE
Check out my post on Sadhuna To learn more about the 40 days and why its important.

How Meditation Can Make You an Even Better Mormon
by SHELDON LAWRENCE
Visit the Link or read here.
Between all our obligations—going to school, working, being a parent, and fulfilling Church callings—the business of life can be overwhelming. But in just 10 minutes a day, we can take up the Savior’s command to “Be still, and know that I am God.”
We often try to spiritually ground ourselves with daily prayer and scripture study. However, our commitment to these practices is sometimes irregular at best. During prayer, it’s natural for our minds to wander; when reading the scriptures, our attention often drifts to what we’re going to do next. Not surprisingly, it’s easy to feel spiritually empty and apathetic.
Faced with these problems, an important breakthrough for me came as I began practicing the art of meditation. Latter-day Saints often use the word “meditate” to mean something like “ponder.” But the type of meditation I discovered indicates a more intentional approach to bringing stillness and focus to our distracted minds. It is this purposeful cultivation of inner peace and quietude that, I believe, President McKay referred to when he said, “Meditation is the language of the soul. . . . [It] is one of the most secret, most sacred doors through which we pass into the presence of the Lord.”
Meditation, however, is not just a 10-minute activity in the morning. It entails an entire way of viewing and encountering the world. In my own spiritual life, I have found many of the truths taught by meditation masters have deepened and enriched my understanding of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our True Essence
One of the central ideas of the philosophy of meditation is that at the core of every human being is an infinite soul. In the Hindu tradition, this essence is called the “atman.” The atman is a kind of divine spark, a piece of God inhabiting a human body. Human beings are experiencing a temporary sense of separation from God but can reunite with Him as we remember our true nature as divine beings.
These ideas ought to resonate with Latter-day Saints who also understand that we are eternal beings and that our truest, deepest self derives from the same substance of God. We learn that “man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.” It was in reference to this inner light that the Savior taught, “The Kingdom of God is within you.”
The Natural Man
Then why, if our inner self is “the light of truth,” is it sometimes so difficult to feel the presence of God? The complications come from our embodiment as human beings. When we come to earth, we “fall” from the paradise of God’s presence and enter a harsh realm that demands survival. We lose our sense of being in harmony with creation and instead become a “me” in competition with “others.” This selfish sense of self is referred to in meditation studies as the ego.
The ego is roughly equivalent to what the scriptures call the natural man. Just as meditation masters have identified the ego or “false self” as the thing that separates us from the presence of God, the Book of Mormon describes the natural man as the “enemy to God,” or in other words, the thing that creates enmity between ourselves and our divine origin. We must “put off the natural man and become a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord.”
The innate instincts we are born with cause the natural man to react quickly to unpleasant situations. Someone insults us, and we feel offended before our religious training tells us we shouldn’t be. If someone hurts us, we want to hurt them. Something scares us, and we want to run or fight. Stimulus, response. Action, reaction.
In the meditation tradition, the natural needs and fears of the ego are called “attachments,” and they are singled out as the principal cause of human suffering and impediment to spiritual progress. The Savior referred to attachments as burdens that cause us to be “heavy laden” and labor under their weight, and he taught us to live without them. He invited the rich young man to unburden himself of his riches. He questions Martha’s need to be “careful about many things.” He said, “Take no thought for the morrow.”
Attachments cause us to live in a state of anxiety and dissatisfaction, because to need something is to fear not getting it. Meditation is a method of spiritual training that helps us eliminate our attachments and awaken our spirits. Our natural bodies and natural minds are like wild horses, powerful and strong, but potentially dangerous and destructive. Our spirit intelligences are like trainers, sent from the presence of God to guide the evolution of this wild animal until it becomes a temple in which the Spirit can dwell.
At-one-ment
There are many different traditions and approaches to formal meditation, and there is no single “right” way to meditate. I suggest researching different approaches with the spirit of discernment to find what works best for you. Even basic principles of meditation, when applied to everyday spirituality, can be transformative.
The small space of holy silence cultivated in meditation is a powerful place for the Atonement to work. We become “at-one” with God every time we are mindful of the natural man and return our attention to the Lord’s grace. When we meditate, with our “eye [or attention] single to the glory of God,” our “whole body shall be full of light.” The Atonement can be seen as a kind of burning away of the darker, Natural man energies within our being as we reunite our inner light with the Savior’s light. This process has a self-reinforcing, upward trajectory: “He that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day.”
This influx of light allows for the flow of grace, wherein we do not check off lists of commandments or become depressed with setbacks or obsessed with perfectionism. In the meditative life our “confidence wax[es] strong in the presence of God” because when we practice abiding in the light for a few minutes every day, then returning to that light every time we wander, the habit will become internalized. This process of sanctification allows the transformation of body and mind until we finally “put off” the natural man and “become a Saint through the atonement of Christ.”
